The one question which has stopped me from writing on a public platform so far is why should I write in the first place. Doesn't it make sense to leave this world unscarred and untouched by my wild thoughts and me to, just for a brief time, focus on my own life? Why create something which may not be even relevant to others?
Well, I just asked those questions to myself here in writing, and I do know the answers to them. Like all the great men and women before me, I too seek to influence others' lives positively. For me, writing seems a more natural medium of communication. I believe in the power our words possess and their ability to change us. Words, then, are no longer mere words but powerful thoughts waiting to be consumed by our minds and trigger us to act on them.
But an even more intriguing question I pose to my mind is why to start writing now.
Maybe because I feel I have the time and energy to do so. Now, of course, I could have managed my time well in college and started writing then, and there would be no need for this post. I have started in a job a month back, and there is something inside me telling me to vent out my thoughts for my own good. There are benefits of writing too, which I am sure 'you' would agree.
Of course, I noticed 'you' reading my post. This 'you' was absent so far when I used to write in my diary sometimes. Back then, I did not fear to reveal my deepest and darkest thoughts onto my journal, which could do nothing but listen. Now, I should let it all out to you, my friend. So, while you are here reading this post, let me thank you for it. I hope, one day, you will see the point of me writing this blog and why I decided to do so.
